Try it yourself

THIS week, Arlene Thompson - a member of Sainsbury's Try Team - shows you how to make some delicious light sponge cupcakes, topped with a real fruit icing.

Try making these easy cupcakes with your children over the summer holidays. They will love getting involved.

Mix together the caster sugar, butter, flour, eggs, lemon and orange zest in a food processor until light and fluffy (you can do this by hand if you do not have a food processor).

Spoon the mixture evenly into 12 cupcake cases placed in a cupcake tin. Bake for 15 minutes, then leave to cool on a wire rack. Meanwhile, mix the soft cheese, icing sugar and berries together in a food processor until smooth.

When the cupcakes are cool, place a small teaspoonful of icing on top of each one and finish off with a whole raspberry or blackberry.
