AN innovative regeneration project, which is helping to transform the Tullygally area, was showcased last week.

The year-long project, which was organised and funded by the Development department of Craigavon Borough Council, cost in the region of 25,000 and is helping to rejuvenate and improve the profile of the area and the businesses who reside there.

"Council officers have been working in partnership with local businesses, community groups and residents groups in the Tullygally area to roll out these innovative initiatives, which will help regenerate and improve the local area for local residents and visitors alike."

He added: “We have secured excellent positive feedback from the local community about the new improvements and we aim to continue to build on these improvements to help increase footfall to local business and protect and enhance the local environment for future generations to come.”
