Turbine plan approved
AN application to erect a single wind turbine at Craigs Quarry, Glenwherry, has been approved by planners.
The proposal by Glenwhirry Wind Ltd. included associated transformers, electrical cabling and ancillary switchgear at the site.
The turbine will have a maximum tower height of 56m, blade diamenter of 58m and an overall height to tip of 85m.
