TUV write to Parades group over Dunloy
Ballymoney TUV councillor William Blair and Moyle Councillor Sharon McKillop have written to the Parades Commission expressing their opposition to a Sinn Fein parade in Dunloy planned next Sunday (February 23rd).
“The Commission wrote to the organiser of this parade last year to advise him that the Commission expected full compliance with its Code of Conduct particularly in relation to paramilitary displays; that the Commission would monitor the parade. If this parade is allowed to go ahead many Unionists will ask themselves how the Commission can allow a march to go ahead in a village where Orangemen cannot walk 100 yards from their Hall to Church.”
