Twelfth assault - police appeal for information*HEADLINE TO G0 HERE

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a report of a serious assault at the Railway Place, Coleraine area (Thursday, 12th July).

At around 5:25pm, it was reported that a 48-year-old man was assaulted in the area. The male received serious inujuries to his head, neck, hand and leg during the incident.

A 30-year-old female arrested in relation to the assault has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
