Two arrested after theft of BMW car
Police in Lurgan have arrested two men following the theft of a car on Friday, September 18.
Around 3.30am police received a report of the theft of a green BMW car from Sandhill Park. A description of the car was circulated and officers on patrol later located it on Inn Road.
Two men, aged 34 and 24, were arrested. The 34-year-old man was arrested for taking a motor vehicle without authority, driving with excess alcohol, no driving licence, no insurance and possession of an offensive weapon. The 24-year-old man was arrested for taking a motor vehicle without authority, no driving licence and no insurance.
Both were released on bail pending further enquiries.
