Two arrests after Dunmurry police chase

TWO men have been arrested by officers from the PSNI's Auto Crime Team following a creeper burglary and pursuit in Dunmurry during the early hours of Friday morning.

At around 1.40am it was reported that a Citreon C5 had been stolen with the keys from outside a property at Forest Park.

Police located the vehicle being driven on Kennedy Way approximately five minutes later.

A trained police driver pursued the vehicle into the Poleglass area. The car was stung at Pantridge Road and subsequently came to a stop at Pembrook Loop Road at around 1.52am.

Two males, aged 19 and 26, were arrested by police on suspicion of burglary, taking and driving away, dangerous driving and other driving offences.

The 19 year old is also being held on suspicion of the attempted murder of a police officer.
