Two cars and a bus collide near Toomebridge
The drivers of two cars were left needing treatment for injuries following a crash with a bus on the Hillhead Road in Toome just after 9pm on Sunday night (July 24).
It is understood that police, firefighters and paramedics were all called to the scene of the smash, which left both cars appearing to be ‘totalled’.
A spokesperson for the PSNI confirmed the crash, saying that all those who were driving had been breathalysed at the scene and that only minor injuries were reported.
They said the collision took place near the Elk Inn at Toomebridge.
It is unclear whether the bus was carrying passengers at the time of the incident.
