“Their recommendations show the warmth and excellent care that exists in so many day nurseries.

“The first five years of a child’s life are vital in shaping the adult they will become, which is why we decided to recognise those nurseries which are playing such an important part in our children’s lives.”

Director of Bella Bambinos Day Nursery, Tim Doran, said: “It is a real honour to be presented with these awards from daynurseries.co.uk.

“I believe that this recognition is testament to our wonderful team at Bella’s.

“ It’s lovely to get so much recognition from both our parents and daynurseries.co.uk for all the hard work the team puts in.

“The girls work incredibly hard to ensure that every ‘Bella Bambino’ in our care is treated as if they are one of their own family.”

Maureen McClearn, manager at The Old Station Day Care Nursery said: “We are delighted with receiving the award this year again as we are also celebrating our 15th birthday this month so the timing of the award is very apt.

“We are situated within a close-knit community with many of our families and staff related which has meant that many of our families have come to the nursery through recommendation.

“Our low turnover of staff makes us unique and our staff members are loyal, caring and dedicated.

“They have between them racked up a whopping 170 years of service at the nursery.

“We believe this is a critical success factor in the nursery’s ability to provide consistent and coherent childcare.”
