Two liftedin raids against dissidents

Detectives from Serious Crime Branch investigating violent dissident terrorist criminality say they have arrested two men in Londonderry.

The suspects, aged 19 and 44, have been taken to the Serious Crime Suite at Antrim police station for questioning.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland said that the arrests had followed a series of raids throughout the city of Londonderry.

Detective Chief Inspector Michael Harvey from the police services’ Serious Crime Branch said that a number of properties had also been searched in the city as part of the PSNI’s operations.
