Two men due in court over major cannabis seizure in Magherafelt

A 39 year old man has been charged with possession of a class B drug, possession of a class B drug with intent to supply, concealing criminal property and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

A 43 year old man has been charged with possession of a class B drug and possession of a class B drug with intent to supply. Both men are due to appear at Magherafelt Magistrates Court on Wednesday 25 March.

The charges are in connection with the police operation in which £40,000 worth of suspected cannabis was seized on the Castledawson Road. Officers also seized two cars and searched properties in Magherafelt and Cookstown.
