Two men lifted overdrugs in PSNI swoop

Two men in their early 30s have been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences in Londonderry.

Chief Inspector Tony Callaghan, the Area Commander, said the offences are alleged to have been discovered after police stopped a car at Madam’s Bank Road on Tuesday, November 25.

A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a Class B drug; cultivating cannabis; being involved in the supply of a Class B drug; and possessing it with intent to supply.

A 33-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possessing a Class B drug and possessing it with intent to supply.

Both were bailed being further enquiries.
