Two men seriously ill in hospital after crash

Two men are being treated in hospital after a one-vehicle crash in Co Antrim in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The collision happened on the Kilraughts Road, Ballymoney.

A PSNI spokesman said: “At around 12.20am it was reported that a blue coloured Mitsubishi had been involved in a collision.

“Two men, aged in their 20’s, who were in the vehicle were taken to hospital for treatment for their injuries that are described as being serious. The Kilraughts Road was closed for a period of time overnight but has now reopened to traffic.”

Inspector Jonathan Brown is appealing for anyone who was travelling on the Kilraughts Road and witnessed the collision to contact Police in Ballymoney on the non-emergency number 101.
