Two on trial

Two young Crumlin are to go on trial next month on GBH charges.

Daniel Abraham (20), of St James’ Meadow, and Aaron Ross (20), of Canning Grove, are charged with causing grievous bodily harm to two males on September 30, 2012.

Neither Abraham or Ross made any reply to the charges during a preliminary enquiry at Antrim Magistrates Court last week.

A prosecution lawyer submitted that both defendants have a case to answer.

Abraham and Ross were released on bail with the case adjourned to Antrim Crown Court on April 7.

An application by the defendants’ defence for one counsel representative each was granted by District Judge Alan White.
