Two people injured following crash

Two people were injured following a road crash involving two cars in Balliesmills last Wednesday, March 11.

The crash occured on the Old Ballynahinch Road in the Bailliesmills at around 12.19am.

Firefighters used cutting equipment to release a 34-year-old woman from one car meanwhile a 23-year-old man, classed as ‘walking wounded’, was out of the other vehicle before arrival of FRS. Both casualties were taken to hospital by ambulance. Fire crews from Lisburn and Central stations attended the incident.
