Two released over attack on Mayor’s home

Two men, aged 26 and 37, arrested on Wednesday in connection with a graffiti attack on Coleraine mayor, councillor George Duddy’s house in the Drumaquill Road area of Coleraine on Sunday were last night released on police bail pending further enquiries.

The pair were questioned about criminal damage.

A number of properties are being searched and a number of items have been taken away for further examination.
