They are travelling as four leprechauns and have named their team Paddy’s Picnic.

This venture is all in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care and the guys are funding all expenses themselves. The guys have been touched by cancer and this motivated them to raise funds for this very worthwhile cause. Mid Ulster Cars Toyota got involved and fully serviced the Toyota Picnic for the trip. Rory McLernon the fundraising leprechaun comments: ”We would like to thank Mid Ulster Cars in Cookstown who have kindly given the Picnic a full service for us”.

Nigel McGurk of Mid Ulster Cars wishes the guys a very safe trip and hopes they raise a great amount for the charity.

“To travel approximately 3000 miles across Europe in a car with no air conditioning is some achievement and on behalf of the team at Mid Ulster Cars, we send them our best wishes.” Nigel concluded.
