Tyrone school to hold special Mass for pupil who died on holiday
A Coalisland Primary School is holding a special Mass in memory of a pupil who passed away whilst on holiday with her family last weekend.
Primary two pupil, Vanesa Raskeviciute, died suddenly last Saturday in Lithuania and is understood to have been laid to rest in her native country.
A post on the Primate Dixon’s Facebook page read: “Vanesa Raskeviciute was a wonderful Primary 2 pupil in our school.

Hide Ad“Vanesa was taken suddenly ill whilst at home on holiday and passed away last weekend in Lithuania.
“Mass in memory of Vanesa will be celebrated on Tuesday evening, 11 August. Mass will be at 7.30pm in St Mary’s & St Joseph’s Church, Brackaville. All are invited to join in this Mass.”
The school has also called for as many primary six and seven pupils as possible to congregate early for the choir.
