U3A plans for busy new season

a NUMBER of new members have been warmly welcomed to the East Antrim branch of the University of the Third Age (U3A).

Some came along to the monthly general meeting - held in Joymount Hall, Carrickfergus - to find out what the U3A is all about, others decided to join, having been inspired by the wide range of activities on offer. U3A is perfect for anyone who would like to make new friends and take up new hobbies.

In some groups, members only need to turn up at a given location to enjoy a day out, around museums, art galleries, gardens or any places of interest to members.
