23k businesses died between ‘07 and ‘11
OVER 20k businesses collapsed in Northern Ireland between 2007 and 2011, it’s been revealed.
Finance Minister revealed Office for National Statistics (ONS) figures that showed 23,295 closed or ceased trading over the period.
There was a slight deceleration in the rate of collapse from 5,235 in 2010 to 4,950 in 2011.
