85k households urged to do the locomotion

OVER 80k households have received copies of the Londonderry to Belfast train timetable along with 50 per cent off day return ticket vouchers in a bid to get people in locomotion.

Mal McGreevy, Translink General Manager, Rail Services, said: “We would encourage passengers to familiarise themselves with the new train timetable to help plan their journeys.

“We hope as many people as possible ‘Try the Train’ and enjoy this most scenic journey through the North West.” said Mal.

Around 85,000 households situated close to the railway line between Ballymena and Londonderry have been sent timetables.

They are also available from main Translink stations and online at www.translink.co.uk
