An Amnesty International exhibition focusing on the experience of Afghan women living in the UK will take place in Pilot's Row to mark International World Peace Day.

It’s the result of the British Afghan Women’s Society and tells five women’s stories of growing up in Afghanistan and the UK, living through war, revolution and exile and returning to their home at a time of great uncertainty.

Their roots, culture and adjustments of living in another culture are revealed as well as their hopes for Afghanistan’s future.

The exhibition runs from September 20 to October 4, 2013 at Eden Place Arts Centre, Rossville Street.
