Artist donates work in recognition of care

A LOCAL artist undergoing treatment at the rheumatology unit in Altnagelvin has donated a painting in appreciation.

Joan Crossan (pictured) - with Dr Armstrong, Consultant Rheumatologist, Bronagh Grant, Western Trust Staff Nurse, Jayne Peoples, Western Trust Staff Nurse and Dr Yau, Consultant Rheumatologist at Altnagelvin Hospital - has been receiving treatment at the unit for the last three years.

Now she’s donated an oil painting to the unit that she painted herself.

She says her donation is in appreciation of all the support and care she received during her treatment.
