Blast from the past: Pensioner of the Year

Children born that year recenlty sat their GCSEs. Derry City, Crusaders and Rangers were all domestic champions in their respective leagues. Katrina and the Waves won the Eurovison song contest in Dublin. Tony Blair ended 18 years of Conservative Government and replaced Patrick Mayhew with Mo Mowlam as NI secretary. And reality TV didn’t exist!
