Consultation on the Glen’s cultural future

THE chair of an umbrella group responsible for neighbourhood renewal in the Glen, Rosemount, Hazelbank and Ballymagroarty says a recent conference allowed members of those communities a meaningful say in shaping their cultural future.

Outer West Partnership Board Chairman Dermot O’Hara thanked the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure (DCAL) for facilitating “this important cultural planning process.

“The conference was a valuable exercise in meaningful community engagement as Outer West embarks on shaping its cultural future.”

The event took place in the Glenview Centre, in Cedar Street.
