A BELFAST fruit company wants the High Court to wind up the Fir Trees Hotel in Strabane, it’s been revealed.

The High Court is set to hear a petition from Arnotts (Fruit) Limited of 16-20 Dunbar Street on Tuesday (September 3).

Notice of the move has been published in The Belfast Gazette.

The paper notes: “A petition to wind up the above Fir Trees Hotel Strabane Limited, Melmount Road, Strabane, BT82 9PX presented on 31 May 2013 by Arnotts (Fruit) Limited of 16-20 Dunbar Street, Belfast, BT1 2LH claiming to be a creditor of the company will be heard at the Royal Courts of Justice, Chichester Street, Belfast, BT1 3JF.”

It advises any person intending to appear must give notice to the petitioner or its solicitor Edwards & Company of 28 Hill Street, Belfast, BT1 2LA, by Monday (September 2).
