Haass was notworking for US
Richard Haass was not working for the US Government whilst dealing with flags, parades and the past here, the First and Deputy First Ministers have confirmed.
“Dr Haass is President of the Council on Foreign Relations, a US based independent think tank.
“He was appointed by agreement among the five Executive parties as the Independent Chair of the Panel of Parties and did not represent the United States Government.”
