Incredible Antartic explorer in city
INCREDIBLE explorer Mark Pollock - the first blind man to reach the South Pole - will meet the Mayor of Londonderry in the Everglades Hotel this afternoon (Tuesday, May 14).
The engagement marks the commencement of the Sensory Engagement Programme Celebration conference which takes place today.
The Sensory Engagement Project is a partnership project between RNIB, Action on Hearing Loss (formerly RNID), NCBI and DeafHear funded by the EU’s INTERRREG IVA Programme, managed by the SEUPB.
