Londonderry is a far more hospitableplace than Belfast

LONDONDERRY is far and away Northern Ireland’s most hospitable place.

Almost 2.5k people here have undergone gold standard customer service treatment here, compared to just 1,495 people in Belfast. In fact 40 per cent of the 6,069 people who undertook ‘World Host’ training were from Londonderry UK City of Culture 2013.

Employment and Learning Minister Dr Stephen Farry revealed 2,458 from here went through the training programme.

He explained that the information was recorded on the basis of tourist destination areas participants came from.

World Host training was originally developed in Canada and adapted for the UK market by the People 1st Training Company, the WorldHost programmes provide a gold standard in training for any business that relies on day-to-day interaction with customers for success.
