A MAN assaulted outside a pop-up bar in the Waterloo Place and William Street area on the last night of the Fleadh has little memory of the incident.

He ended up in hospital after sustaining serious facial injuries. The PSNI said it’s appealing for witnesses to the serious assault that took place in the early hours of Sunday (August 18) in the city.

A man came out of one of the pop-up bars in the Waterloo Place/William Street area at around 3am and was assaulted. He received serious facial injuries and spent some time in hospital.
