New BoI branch onCulmore Road opens

Nine months after the Sentinel reported it was improving disabled access at its Culmore Road premises, Bank of Ireland, has opened the doors of a new state-of-the-art branch following a significant investment.

Una McWilliams, manager of Culmore Road, said: “The new branch, part of the Bank’s £10 million investment in its branches across Northern Ireland, will provide a full suite of banking services for personal and business customers and uses the latest in technology, simplified processes and modern design to meet the demands of customers looking for faster delivery of day-to -day banking services alongside ease of access to expertise and knowledge.”

The branch, which employs four full time staff including dedicated mortgage, commercial banking and customer advisers, brings to 36 the total number of Bank of Ireland UK branches in Northern Ireland.

Ms McWilliams added: “While we offer a range of convenient channels through which customers can do business with us, including online banking, the bank branch remains the cornerstone of Bank of Ireland UK’s relationships with its customers. Our doors are open and all are welcome to come in and take a look at what we offer.”
