Old photos to bepresented incultural centre

Brian Mailey returns to the Roe Valley Arts & Cultural Centre/Ionad Ealaíon agus Cultúir Ghleann na Ró on Tuesday, April 1 at 7pm with his ever-popular presentation of photographs of Limavady town.

On this occasion, the emphasis of the exhibition will be on the people and places of Limavady.

Featuring an array of photographs of local residents, traders, shops, school groups, sports teams and more, this presentation of highlights from Brian’s collection should not be missed by anyone with an interest in the history of Limavady.

Jamie Austin, Museum/Heritage Officer with Limavady Borough Council said: “Brian’s Pictorial Tour presentations have been immensely popular to date.”

He added: “They give people the chance to see how things have changed and to reminisce about their local area. I think this event is a must for anyone who is interested in the history of Limavady town.”

Admission to the Cultural Centre presentation is free however places are limited and must be booked in advance.
