RAF carried out41 air drops
THE RAF provided 41 of the air drops to snowbound Northern Ireland farms during the recent inclement weather with the Irish Air Corp providing just five drops.
The MoD will charge for the support but the Irish Air Corps will not. Farms Minister Michelle O’Neill said that at April 14, a helpline set up to deal with the crisis had received 902 calls.
