Thieves make off with Fleadh Cheoilna hÉireann banner

Police in Londonderry are appealing for information following the theft.

Some time between Saturday (August 3) and 8.00am on Sunday (August 4) 30 metre x 1 metre banner was removed from fencing on Foyle Road.

Meanwhile, police are also investigation a house burglary in the St Columbs Wells area sometime between midday and 1pm on (August 4).

Electronic equipment and some jewellery have been reported missing. It is believed a man in his 50s with shoulder length grey hair and wearing a tracksuit was seen near the property that afternoon.
