Tribute night for the late Noel McBride

A TRIBUTE to the late, great Noel McBride, will be held in Londonderry’s Millennium Forum in October with all proceeds going to the Sperrin unit in Altnagelvin and Foyle Search and Rescue.

His son Eamon explained: “Tickets are now on sale for what should be a cracking night for my father.

“Proceeds are in aid of a charity close to my dad’s heart, Foyle Search & Rescue, and also the Sperrin Ward, Altnagelvin Hospital where my dad received great care in his final weeks.”

Tickets cost £12.50 for the tribute, which takes place on Sunday (October 13) in the Millennium forum.

The night will feature May McFettridge, Gene Fitzpatrick, Big O, Terence Morrison, Felix Healy, Yvonne Holmes and comperes Billy Carlin and Sean Coyle.

The Forum says its fitting that Northern Ireland’s leading comics and local musical talent are coming together for an evening of laughter in his memory.
