UKIP candidate selected for Carrickfergus

John Kennedy has been selected to stand on a UKIP ticket in the Carrick Castle DEA in the council election on May 2.

Mr Kennedy successfully lodged his nomination papers this week to become an official UKIP candidate for the elections to Mid and East Antrim Borough Council.

Meanwhile, former UKIP representative, Cllr Noel Jordan has announced that he is to stand in the same ward as an independent representative.
