UKIP slam Lagan Valley postponement

UKIP’s Alan Love has condemned the indefinite postponement of Lagan Valley Hospital’s minor injuries unit.

Mr Love also expressed concern at the “temporary” closure of Ward 14 and its impacts on planned care treatments.

He added, “These cuts are due to the gross mismanagement of finance by the Stormont coalition. It has failed to agree a budget protecting essential expenditure on health, infrastructure and education. It is time to make deep cuts in some of the less essential departments such as Culture, Arts and Leisure.”
