Lisburn Mayor said: “I hope the local community will come out and support this cultural evening and enjoy the musical performances on offer.

“By doing so a very worthy charity will benefit and my aim as Mayor is to raise as much money as possible for the Lagan Valley Diabetes Unit.

“The Lagan Valley Diabetes Fund provides invaluable support to sufferers of diabetes in the Lisburn area, so local people will benefit directly by attending this event.

“Each of us know someone who suffers from diabetes and for many who do this condition is a constant struggle.
