Ulster-Scots event

WOULD you like to find out more about Ulster-Scots?

Derry City Council will be hosting a free Ulster-Scots Community Information event, facilitated by the Ulster-Scots Community Network on Thursday 22nd September 2011 from 10.30am to 12.30pm, which aims to provide an introduction to Ulster-Scots Language, Heritage and Culture in the Derry City Council Area.

If you have ever wondered what constitutes an Ulster-Scot, whether Ulster-Scots is a language or a dialect, whether the Ulster-Scots have had any influence in the city’s evolution or what mark the Ulster-Scots have left on your daily life, then this event should answer your questions.
