Ulster Scots Family Festival
MOVENIS Area Community Association (MACA) is holding an Ulster Scots Family Festival at Movenis Orange Hall on Friday and Saturday, June 11-12, sponsored by Coleraine Borough Council and the Ulster Scots Agency.
The Festival commences with a 'Flaming June Barbecue' on Friday at 7pm at Movenis Hall with children’s entertainment and a full supporting programme of Ulster Scots song, dance and recitations.
The Saturday entertainment begins at 2.00pm till late and a full supporting programme will include the Alistair Scott Ceili Band, Glenkeen Fife and Drum, Dunloy Accordian Orchestra and a Lambeg Drum rendition.
Tea and sandwiches will be provided. Admission is 7, children 3 and this will cover the two days. Come along, bring a friend and enjoy the fun.
