Ulster Unionist branch AGM

The Annual General Meeting of the Upper Bann Association of the Ulster Unionist Party was held recently at Brownlow House, Lurgan.

The meeting was addressed by Fermanagh and South Tyrone MP Tom Elliott who updated the members on numerous policy areas including the Government’s position towards Syria, pressure being exerted to support the local agricultural sector, educational issues and the forthcoming Assembly elections.

Mr Elliott conducted the election of Association Officers prior to addressing the meeting. The Association membership secretary welcomed a very healthy increase in party membership across the various local branches.
