Unemployment rises slightly in Coleraine
THE number of people out of work in Coleraine has risen slightly compared with the same time last year.
Figures released by the Labour Market for the month of June show that there were 1,734 people out of work in the Coleraine Borough Council area - 1,248 men and 486 women.
This represents an increase of 0.8% compared with June 2011.
However, the number of people out of work is less than in May.
