Unemployment total in Coleraine up 5% since last year
UNEMPLOYMENT in Coleraine continues to rise, according to figures released by the Labour Market for February.
The latest figures show that in the Coleraine Borough Council area in February there were 2,054 people out of work - a total of 1,460 men and 594 women.
These figures represent an increase of nine people or 0.4% compared with January 2013.
The numbers also show that the number of people out of work in Coleraine has risen by 99 people or 5.1% compared with February 2012.
