Unique Jubilee display at Broughshane Museum

THE museum within Broughshane House is celebrating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with ‘A Local Piece of Living History’.

Lady Maura Campbell from Randalstown was one of the Queen’s Trainbearers at the Coronation in 1953 and has kindly agreed to put her actual dress, tiara and gloves on display in the museum from May 29-31.

Tonight, Tuesday, May 29, at 7.30pm she will talk about this amazing day against a background film of the Coronation.

It is her wish that any donations will go towards the Irish NSPCC and Children’s Cancer Charities and Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Crumlin.
