UPDATE - Man killed at railway line in Lurgan

A man is believed to have been killed at the railway lines in Lurgan.

Rail services have been halted in both directions following the incident earlier this evening (Thursday).

According to ‘MAIL’ sources the incident happened about 100 yards from the William Street crossing.

It has also emerged a bus carrying diverted rail passengers from Lurgan to Portadown was involved in a collision with a van at Highfield Road, Craigavon,

It’s understood there were 15 passengers on the bus. The collision happened around 5.40pm.

The driver of the van was taken to hospital by ambulance.
