An initiative launched this time last year to enhance safety and reduce rural crime in Ballymena, is progressing well, last week’s PCSP public meeting heard.

So far, 243 farmers have signed up to the Farmwatch scheme which has been developed by the local PCSP.
50 Guardcams and 50 tracking devices have been distributed to local farmers, 14 Farmwatch signs have been erected and a PSNI free trailer marking event held.
