Update on public realm works

CONTRACTORS responsible for the public realm works in the town have issued an update on progress in their latest newsletter.

Planned targets for February include excavation works progressing from Edward Street leading on to Church Place in preparation for laying new granite kerbs, setts and paving.

On Market Street excavation works have started at the International Bar on the corner of Castle Lane, again in preparation for new granite kerbs, setts and paving.

Pedestrians are asked to use the alternative routes provided when walkways are obstructed.
