Update on work at Larne Lough

A SEMINAR on the environmental management of Larne Lough has been held at Willowbank Business Park.

The event last Wednesday was hosted by Larne Borough Council in partnership with the Northern Ireland Environment Agency and Friends of Larne Lough. Those in attendance were briefed on environmental management work carried out at the lough so far and what the plans are for the future.

The seminar featured speakers from NI Environment Agency Water Management Unit, NIEA Conservation Designations and Protection Unit, Friends of Larne Lough, Lafarge, RSPB, Planning Service, NI Water and the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute.
