Update: Two arrested after body found at Moyraverty Court

Two people have been arrested following the discovery of a body at a house in the Moyraverty Court area of Craigavon today (Saturday, July 5).

Police made the discovery when officers called at the Moyraverty Court property during the afternoon.

The two people arrested - a 27-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman - are being questioned by detectives.

Police are appealing for information about the incident and are keen to speak to anyone who may have noticed suspicious activity around the house from Wednesday until today.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on the 101 non-emergency number.

According to unconfirmed reports a man was stabbed to death.

The cause of the man’s death will not be known until a post mortem is carried out.
