Upper Bann MLA praises Seapatrick Church Fete

Upper Bann DUP MLA Carla Lockhart has praised the organisers of Seapatrick Community Fete saying that there was a great atmosphere, great weather and great food.

The annual church fete was held on Saturday June 17 and there was certainly plenty to keep everyone entertained throughout the day.

Activities at the fete included Bouncy Castle, Obstacle Course, Climbing Wall, Go Kart Track and Penalty Kicks. as well as Paddy’s Market, White Elephant Stall, Plant Stall and Market Garden Stall, Craft Stall, Cake Stall, Book Stall, Clothing Stall, and Toy Stall. There was also Afternoon Tea, Burger Stalls, Pancake Stall and Chocolate Fountain, as well as Banbridge Silver Band in Concert.

Speaking following the event Mrs Lockhart said: “I want to commend the hard work and dedication of the community group operating in Seapatrick. The members of group along with many in the community have a real community vision and Saturday’s Fete was testament of that with many turning out for the fun and food. It was great to see a community unite and enjoy what was laid on. It was great to meet with many from the village and to hear some of the issues needing addressed.”
